Hi, I’m Hannah! I’m a 3rd year Communication and Media student at the University of Wollongong. All things creative, tech based, and anime bring me joy, and I aim to share that with as much of the world as I can!

I’ve been designing art for the past year, and am passionate about SEO and the creative industry as a whole. I studied marketing for two years, and know how to work effectively with people and grab the attention of potential clients, as reflected in my time over the last three years teaching junior hip hop and beginner girls style in Wollongong and Sydney.

Store Senpai came to fruition as part of a digital artefact in the 300 level Advanced Digital Artefact subject in July 2020. The subject gave me the time and feedback I needed to refine my designs and create a store front I was proud of. In the future I aim to increase my catalogue of products, and enhance the store even further with my anime-inspired designs!

My designs are highly inspired by the Japanese concept of ‘kawaii’, meaning cute, as well as the honorific ‘Senpai’, meaning someone older in age or experience. These represent the two opposite sides of the spectrum my designs exist on. Cute, innocent, and kawaii, with pastel pink and baby blue oversized sweaters, and the assertive, confident, and stern qualities of a ‘Senpai’.
